What is Bloem Show?

  • Bloem Show is an annual show that successfully combines agricultural, entertainment and trade activities in one event for more than 142 years.
  • The show is hosted at the Bloemfontein showgrounds in Curie Avenue, Bloemfontein over a period of 9 days. The 2025 Bloem Show will be hosted from 25 April – 03 May 2025.

When is the next Bloem Show?

  • 25 April – 03 May 2025 at the Bloemfontein Showgrounds.

How much is the admission fees?

Where do I purchase tickets to the Bloem Show?

  • Tickets to gain entry to the Bloem Show can be purchased online at Computicket, Computicket outlets or Shoprite Checkers Money Market counters.
  • Tickets can also be purchased at entrance gates during Bloem Show.

Which artists will be performing?

Is there sufficient and safe parking?

  • The venue has ample outdoor public parking surrounding the showgrounds
  • Parking from Curie Avenue in front of Showgate centre, at Hinterland (co-op), Builders Warehouse or opposite Builders Warehouse at Gate 2
  • Parking from Monument Road, enter next to Women’s memorial – parking at Gate 10
  • Parking from Monument Road, enter next to Women’s memorial, drive next to the railway – parking at Gate 7 (Railway gate)

What are the opening and closing times of gates and exhibition halls?

  • Gates for entrance open daily at 08:00 and closes 20:00, except on Sunday when gates closes at 17:00 and the last Saturday, 3 May gates will close for entry at 17:00
  • Exhibition hall open daily at 08:00 and closes 20:00, except on Sunday when halls closes at 17:00 and the last Saturday, 3 May halls will close at 17:00

Is there facilities for people with disabilities at Bloem Show?

  • Disabled parking at Gate 2 (Cembrick Gate) and Gate 4 (Cat Box)
  • Disabled ablution facilities are available
  • Access to exhibition halls – disability friendly
  • Access to pavilion north of main pavilion

Will there be ATMs inside the showgrounds?

  • Yes
  • Absa ATM infront of Protea hall and next to Rose hall on left hand side
  • Standard Bank ATM behind Wimpy stage across from Ola aswell as at the Fun Fair.

Is Bloem show pet friendly?

  • No pets allowed.
  • This is due to the large volume of visitors attending the Bloem Show, as well as legislation regulations; we do not allow any pets onto the premises besides guide dogs

Do you have baby changing facilities?

  • Yes
  • Baby changing facility at the ER24 stall opposite the Daisy Hall
  • At the ablution facilities next to the Lily Hall

What if I get separated from my child during the Bloem Show?

  • Please ensure that all children under the age of 6 have armbands nametags sponsored by McDonalds available at all entrance gates.
  • If a child goes missing, the incident should immediately be reported to information at the Bloem Show office
  • General safety is monitored by a VOC (Venue Operation Centre) – all resources will be activated once a child is reported missing on the Bloem Showgrounds premises.
  • We kindly ask parents to keep a watchful eye on their children at all times.

What if I need medical attention at the Bloem Show?

  • There is a full time medical team and an ambulance of ER24 on duty during operating hours.
  • Please report any medical emergency to Information at the Bloem Show office or ER office opposite Protea hall entrance in the walkways.
  • General safety is monitored by a VOC (Venue Operation Centre) – all sources will be activated once there is any urgent medical attention needed.

What if my items get stolen during the show?

  • There is a full time SAPS police station during operating hours.
  • Please report any safety or relevant safety issues to Information at the Bloem Show office or SAPS police station in the walkway to the Fun Fair.
  • General safety is monitored by a VOC (Venue Operation Centre) – all sources will be activated once there is any urgent safety attention needed.
  • Please ensure all valuable items are kept safe.

Will I be able to purchase food at Bloem Show?

  • Yes, there will be a variety of 58+ different food stalls.
